Don’t blame everything on “so called IT people”.

Can we all report the issue of parking on both sides of Kaggadasapura main road on Bangalore Traffic Police facebook page? Issues reported there are getting immediate response and actions.

Hi,

I agree that these information do help the residents of Kaggadasapura. But how far these information is correct and dependable is a big question.

As a commuter by BMTC i have experienced the following difficulties,rather irregularities in the service of the buses.

1. You have mentioned that the bus no 314X/D comes to Abbaiah Reddy layout. For your kind information I have fought many times with the conductor and driver of this bus to come to Abbaiah Reddy Layout in the evenings, but in vain. Only the morning 2 trips this bus comes to Abbaiah Reddy Layout, that also if they wish to , which fact you can confirm with the vendors / shop keepers there.
Not only this Bus, other buses via C V Raman Nagar also sometimes terminate the services after 7 o’ clock till CV Raman Nagar because of the narrow road, heavy traffic and the closed railway gate.

2. Once the Metro train started we thought our difficulties are solved. But unfortunately it is all the more doubled. It will take only 10-12 minutes to travel 7 km by Metro but to reach from Kaggadaspura to Byappanahalli -hardly 3 1/2 km we don’t have any buses to the station. Not only that we are at the mercy of the auto drivers who charge anything between Rs.50 to Rs.70/- according to the time and urgency. We don’t need any special buses but normal route buses alternately plying through the Metro route- via Old Madras Road to their normal destination- as in the case of old 309 (market bus route)between with 15 minutes frequency at peak time between 8 am to 10 am and 6 pm to 8 pm and Jeevan Bimanagar route.

3. Another fact about the Kaggadaspura Road traffic is that the so called educated IT people residing here don’t have any civic sense / social responsibility that they park their vehicles on either sides of the congested Road. We have to introduce parking rules to de-congest these roads.

I do not want to get into any argument/ discussion as far as these points are concerned- just wanted to highlight the difficulties.

It will be better if some of these 201 volvo buses cn be extended upto DRDO 2nd Phase, as most of the commuters depend on rikshaws, walk or take another bus upto C V Raman Nagar. Also I think the service of 314B volvo to Kempegowda Bus Stn is stopped.

Require a bus from Kaggadasapura to
(a) Old Airport Road &
(b) Old Madras Road
This shall be a great benefit to all residents and many inhabitants shall reduce personal vehical usage – if made available at regular intervals. This shall reduce traffic snarls also.
Introduce as a sample and see the benefit to believe.

314 N, goes from Vignan nagar to Shivajinagar and it is available twice in a hr, but frequency is once in 2 hrs. Morning 8.15 and 8.45 are direct buses and then only again at 10.15….Evening it starts at 6.30 from Shivajinagar and then at 8 from Vignan nagar. My observation confirms that all buses to Majestic, KR Market, Shivajinagar are between 8AM to 9AM from Vignan nagar. We have also have same from GM Palya, same time.

MB S6 doesn’t have after 6 in evening. going back from CV Raman nagar to vidyaranyapura after 7 is big problem and need Volvo bus to this route as its very long route.
