Dear Sir / Madam,
I had bought a Sony Erricson W595 mobile phone 3 months ago by paying 15000/- Rs and few keys were not working after a month. It had free warranty of 1 year, so i took it to a Sony authorised service centre. They said keypad has to be changed and they dont have stock & sent me to another center. The other center kept the phone for a day & later falsely claimed it has liquid damage & i should pay for repair. i asked for estimate. They did not respond to my calls & visits. After a month they are saying it will cost 3000/ Rs. This is a clear case of cheating & i want to sue them & also warn the public about their unenthical trade practice. Many have had same experience with this center in jayanagar.
Kindly advise me about the procedures & steps involved in initiating a legal complaint against them.

Hai Bhaskar,
You can file a case against the house owner if he has not paid back your advance at Consumer Court. You need the rental agreement as proof. By the way why don’t you let others know who is the owner so that others may avoid getting into trouble in future.

Resp Sir/Madam,
I have a post paid connection with AIRTEL since three years and to my surprise i received my March 2009 bill with a one time charge of Rs.744.02/- for which the customer care executives replied to me stating that the above said amount was pending in my old account number unpaid and they found it unpaid when they changed my account from 105…..series to 100…..series.
To their above said response, i requested them to send me a copy of the bill for the one time charge and till today i had not received a copy of the bill for the same and they only kept me waiting for more than 40 days and nothing actually happens to my satisfaction.
I have been sending mails to get things done, but nothing actually works…What action can i take against AIRTEL for this delay and the mental tension they have put me into???
In addition to this they said me that they have emailed the bill to my email address on the 12th of May 2009 which was not actually done truly….
Then again on the 10th of June 2009 they told me that they have sent a copy of the bill by Courier and today is 16th of June and till today i had not received a copy of the bill…
I wanted to get rid of this issue at the earliest possible by teaching a lesson to AIRTEL….
Kindly let me know how to go about in regard to this issue.

I have booked a courier on 15/05/09 from Flyking jaynagar branch Bangalore to Pune Symbiosys and till now its not reached.
Instead of filling the compaint form in flykings official website (http://www.flykingindia.com/customer_support.html) i have not got any reply from their side who are supposed to send the responce within 24 hrs.Again i have written a complain to andheri@flykingmail.com and have not got any reply .
I am tired of calling the jaynagar and chickpet branch of flyking asking for help ,they are unable to provide me the receiving copy and not telling the status exactly what happen to my documents which are containing a demand draft and application form to take admission in PGDBA course.My last date of admission is near and really worried because of these people i will loose my year.Please help me filing a complain agaist flyking ,below are few details i am furnishing for refrence.

hello friends,
i had bought hp laptop from croma agency in the month of dec 08. as part of purchase i was supposed to receive home theatre as a gift. even after 6 months ther has been no response. when contacted to the shop wher i purchased,i was told to contact the hp office. when i contacted the office they said they wil look into the matter and ther is same response everytime.. can anyone please help me as to what to do next..

I bought a sandisk 8 gb micro sd card from Shree Durga Computers SP Road. At the time of purchase i was told it comes with 2 year warranty. The card developed problem sooner, and when i contacted the retailer he told me to go to one service center after other. Lastly when i contacted him and told him i.m going to complain in consumers court he said that his job is to sell things and not run after warranty. Its company’s job to provide warranty. He failed to give me a proper address of a cervice center. And finally i’ve decided to complain to consumers forum. Can anyone provide me guidance for the same. I filed my tax returns for the year 2007-2008 for which I was supposed to receive a return worth rupees 16000/- (Not exact its 16thousand and some change).
Now even after more than a year I did not receive any money. Upon checking online I found out that my status shows that there is a problem crediting to my account. I later enquired in the office and they told me that the account provided by me is incorrect. I verified the ITR return form and my account details are absolutely correct. Now here’s the fun part. Upon visiting their office my family member found out that there’s a peculiar problem with the software that is when they type my account number as 072( starting digits of my account number), the zero is stripped off and it takes it as 72. Now we pointed out the problem to the person feeding the details the lady who was operating acknowledged the problem. However the supervisor says it doesn’t matter whether its 072 or 72. And further he was rude enough to say that you software fellow have done this. I paid 80 crores for the software. Now when we asked did you pay? Did you pay from your pocket, and that money is paid from government budget, he said its not his problem software does that and he can’t do anything. The rude person took the wrong details even though we pointed out that the ITR form has the proper account no. He refuses to do anything, and says its you software fellows problem. And he says that he can’t do anything as the check is ready. Well this is funny, he just took the account details a minute ago and afte a few minute he says the check is ready and you will get it in 15 days.
Well one is I’m seriously annoyed, second having to deal with a person who just refuses to do what he is supposed to do.
People around say that give him some bribe and he’ll resolve it shortly.
I don’t want to do that, I want this to be resolved properly.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have bought a Property from Golden Gate Properties 6 yrs ago and for the last 3 months there is water leakage from the ceiling of my bathroom.That time only I complaint against the issue to our society manager and also to one representative(Anthony)of Golden Gate Blossom properties who takes care of such complaints.That time he told us that we need to repair the bathroom of the apartment just above our apartment.but till date they have not repaired it.Yesterday I called Anthony and he told me that he already sent his guys to our place to repair and it will take 2 days to repair.But i came to know that by evening his guys did not arrive even to our place.when I called Anthony again he told me that he will ask his supervisor and let me know.But after that there is no call from him rather I called him up around 4-5 times he did not pick the call.My husband called him for 7-8 times still he did not pick the call.So we are in a trouble for the last 3 months due to this but it’s very necessary to repair the bathroom as some guest arrived at home.
Just help me how to tackle these people.
Also I suggest everyone to not to buy any property from Golden Gate Properties as they don’t pay attention to the issues which people face nomally once they sell their property.
I want a strict action against these people.

I am staying in a rented house since April 2009. we got this house through a dealer and at that time the deal was fixed as 6250/- Rent including water, electricity charges extra as per the bill. now the house owner are continuously bugging us for the payment for cleaning charges, when we asked this to dealer he said we don’t have to pay the charges. he talked to the owner but it was of no use. the owner is very rude and he has trouble in all issues like putting out clothes for drying. earlier i was not told we can’t put cloths in the balcony. Now the dealer is also not responding even after several attempts of calling him he is not taking the call, not even coming there.
Kindly advise me what step I can take to handle this situation, my mother has high BP and her condition gets worse when any such things happens.

Sir/Madam, When I shifted my residence from Indiranagar to Hoodi Village (Near Hoodi Railway Gate), Bangalore -48 I had submitted an application for shifting my BSNL telephone connection (25282232) from Indiranagar to Hoodi, Bangalore -48 on April 6th 2009. Until now BSNL Authorities have taken any action regarding shifting of this telephone to my new residence. I am a central govt. employee. This telephone was having an internet broad band connection (unlimited down load) i.e. monthly Rs.750/- and for govt employees 20% discount. I contacted, and sent representation to GM East, AM North east on several occasions and sent reminders by e-mail but until now they have not taken any action for shifting of this telephone. I am incurring huge amount in the absence of BSNL broad band connection and also facing mental agony in the absence of residential land line. I have taken DATA card from Tata Broad band services and their rates are high. My son is a software engineer and therefore we should have broad band connection for upkeeping his career growth and also further studies. Kindly advice me if I approach Consumer Court for the delay in shifting the residential telephone by BSNL and also the excess cost incurring by me towards broad band and the cost of mental agony being faced by me and my family members in the absence of land line, I will be able to get the telephone shifted by BSNL, even though the area is non-feasible for the time at the earliest. The area is non-feasible is not a problem of the customer. I got this telephone about 10 years back without facing any disconnection for non payment of bill etc. Kindly advice me.

Hi ICICI Prudential insurance Co. cheated me and did not pay my invest11ment money back fully. they just paid 40% and giving me some explanations. they also linked my policy to market without my knowledge.

You can register your complaint at http://www.consumercourt.in/ alongwith your policy number and all other necessary details. First you have to register yourself at the website. Then on the Homepage scroll down and go to the “Financial Services” Board. Go to “Insurance” under this board and lodge your Insurance related complaint. Also search for other complaints about ICICI Bank in the same website which will help you to furnish the details required.
If you would like to file a complaint to IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority) then you may visit http://www.irdaindia.org/ and make a complaint by sending email on the prescribed format given on the website to concerned authority.
If you want to file a complaint at Consumer Court in Bangalore then you may have to contact them and find out the details. Keep us informed about the progress of your complaint.

Hai Mr Chandran,
Since BSNL is a government agency they won’t bother much if you go to consumer court. They will simply tell the same thing that there is no feasibility to provide connection in your new place. I think it would be better to change over to any other Broadband like Airtel, Reliance or Tata Indicom as mentioned by you. These private broadband providers give much quality service in time which is worth the extra bucks you may have to pay. If you still insist on filing a case against BSNL in consumer court then you can do so at the consumer court relevant to your area from the above list.

Dear Sir,
I was holding a HDFC Card earlier which was closed in the Year 2005 with giving a full payment and I got a receipt also regarding this. I had called up the Customer Service that day with a Person (details also written in the Receipt) and confirmed that it is a Full and Final Settlement. After this I never went back to the Bank. I had even written a letter to them to Cancel the Card (I never got any reply though). Today they are saying even though the Card is closed the accumulation of nonpayment of some pending amount is Rs.13000/- and I need to pay the same. I personally went the Bank and showed them all the proofs which I have but they are saying since I do not have the Settlement letter I need to pay the amount. Also I showed them the receipt which I have stating it is full and final settlement and the Bank should have the copy of the same they are not obliging.
I also told them that if any of the Banks or firms comes backs and tells me that I have not paid their dues (even if one Bank) then I would pay up. They are forcefully making me pay this.
Can I lodge a Complaint and win the Battle in this regards. If they have the recording of the Customer service talk which I had on the day (which I have the details) clearly indicating what is mentioned could close the same. even the copy of the receipt would help.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been using Airtel corporate connection for 7-8 months now. I wanted to take an internet plan and when I called up the customer care, they explained me a plan wherein they said first 100 MB will be free and rest will be charged at 1 re/100kb. Thinking thats its quite cheap i took it. But to my surprise my internet bill starting going up by 1000 rs. daily even when i used it hardly for an hour in a day! When i called back the customer care, they told me its prorata based(wasnt told earlier at the time of activation) and that in a day I’ll get only 3.3 MB free! I asked them to disconnect the plan and then they said if I dont complete 1 month with the plan, I wont get full 100 MB free! So i kept the plan for one month without using the internet. My internet bill was 4000 rs for 1 month…hardly used it for 5-6 hours in the entire month!
Also, the disconnected my outgoing since my credit limit had exceeded due to the high internet charge(which i didnt even use!).
I filed many complaints with them, even mailed them thrice with no response from their side. The executives keep calling every day to remind me to pay the bill and i keep explaining them again and again that I’ve filed a complaint and wont pay the bill untill the matter is resolved.On top of that today a new executive called and she told me that for the internet plan i took, there was no need to extend it for a month. They give 100 mb free even if we use it in one single day! This is really ridiculous! Different executives say different things about the same plan!
I want to lodge a case in consumer court for the inconvinience caused to me and for the impartial, wrong and varied information given to me by different customer care executives. Kindly tell me how to proceed with it.

1. I have purchaged a Blackberry phone from mobile store . The person told me that I can use GPRS internet services from Airtel.
When I went to Airtel outlet they told there is no GPRS service. I have to use BlackBerry data service which is very Costly.
Now they are neither returning the set nor exchanging.

I had purchased a water heater form Sonye Tek Maketing. The person told us that we can use it for boiling water for bathing purpose, we bought this heater 6 months back and couldn’t use it once because if we switch on the heater the entire house power will be disconnected and we have to cal the KEB. we have called there company more the 50 times every time when we call they say that the will send some one for repair and the price ic so expensive.
I want to lodge a case in consumer court for the seling us the damaged product wrong information given to me by different customer care executives. Kindly tell me how to proceed with it.

Hai Sheela,
The main MCB for the whole house should be 32 amp. Also the MCB for the electrical line on which your water heater is connected should be around 16 amp. Check the ampere and get it changed to one with higher ampere (16 amp) and your problem will be solved. If both MCBs are ok and still you have the problem then you must be having an instant water heater. You should first open the tap before switching on the instant water heater. Otherwise there will be a trip on the main MCB. Check it out. If still your problem is not solved post me a comment and I will tell you how to go to consumer court.

Dear Sir,
I have brought a Samsung mobile worth Rs.5850/- in the month of October-2009(It has got 1 Year warrant also). But within 2 months, the mobile was not working properly, it was having some problem. I went to Samsung service in Domlur(Old airport road), and given my mobile for the service on Dec-26-2009. Now the problem is, till now they have not given my phone back, whenever I call them, they are telling all nonsense excuses. They are not even telling me exact date to collect my mobile, If I call(or visit) them on the date they told to me, they are once again telling me that it will take one more week or 10 days. Till now I have wasted around 200 rupees by calling them or visiting them. It is not only the money, but I wasted lot of my valuable time. Now I lost my patience in samsung.
Sir, Please let me know what I have to do now? Do I need to loose my money? Hope I will get some help from you.

Number of days since I am struggling: 33 days.
Problem / Concern:
My parents traveled via American airlines from DFW to Del via Chicago. On their flight from Dallas to Chicago they were asked to leave the carryon baggage at entrance of aircraft [mind you they were having just one bag each as carry on] with promise to get it by time when plane lands at Chicago. This never happened and because my parents had a connecting flight after 45 min they rushed to the gate where next flight departs. They did talk to AA people at the landing gate in Chicago and were assured they will get the bag in timely manner at New Delhi and were asked to keep the carryon bag tag receipt in safe.
After landing New Delhi the carryon bad never came as expected and they reported this with Delhi baggage claim, they were asked to keep the receipt of the carryon bag and their bag will be taken care of and there is no need to file a lost claim.
I was updated about all this by parents on 6th Jan’10 after which I started contacting AA. I did told AA (I guess it was fort worth call centre) that I am myself reaching New Delhi on 16th Jan with British Airways and I would like to get the bag on their behalf from New Delhi airport. AA staff agreed and she said she will send the request regarding the same to baggage department. I did give my contact number for any issues.
On 13th 2 days prior to my flight I called up AA to see everything is fine and I was surprised that bag is still sitting in Chicago for some reason and upon my question of why I was not updated, there was no answer. I did try reaching to supervisor but to no use. I again requested to that AA official on phone that please send it to New Delhi as I am myself going to India for good and we have no one in USA.
Upon reaching India I started contacted AA baggage department at New Delhi office. After 7-8 days I was able to contact with Siddharth Aggarwal supervisor in baggage department, did talk to him many a times, exchanged couple of mails but no concrete solution. Also, I should mention that staff at baggage dept at New Delhi is very lousy, for e.g. after putting me on hold I would every time hear nuisances like just keep the phone on hold and it will automatically get disconnect, etc.
Meanwhile I did write to customer relations regarding the same issue. Mr. Vanessa Villerot responded back with his assurance of getting the things resolved but it is already 15 days since then and I doubt. I did take the action of calling New Delhi bag department as suggested by him.
I did have a word with Jason senior to Siddharth at Baggage department, New Delhi. He assured me of solution and talked about me getting a call from AA in 2 days time for the updates, but as always no call no updates.
Consequences resulted from delay of bag:
1. My parents are the first one excluding me to go to USA. All my cousins / children’s at home were expecting gifts on their return. Many gifts are there in that bag. Delay in bag has killed children’s curiosity and made my parents felt bad. There is nothing I can do on my behalf to make children’s understand and I feel helpless too.
2. Harassment which myself and my parents went, and still going on.

I have taken a membership of Country Club. They offered a plot with that stating that it is 10 kms from International airport. But after the deal was done thinking that Country Club being a genuine name , we came to know that plot is located 50kms far from International airport and also it is in Naxalite area. The representative who dealt with us came our home and accepted that he lied us and all, we took his recording without his conscious. Also he gave a written statement that he will refund back the money. This he told about 6 months back but still there is no action been taken. Contacted him, he is not picking the call. Also when contacted Country Club, they say that they cannot refund back.
The cost was 1.45 Lakhs
Can we file a case against Country Club in consumer court, if yes then pls let me know the procedure.Also let me know that if we can file the case then apart from what we have invested can we claim for the compensation for the mental trauma that we have gone through.

I booked a flat in Ganga Vertica from Goel Ganga group in May 2008.
I paid Rs 100,000/- as booking amount and builder issues the receipt for the same.
Following that builder started enforcing unilateral agreement which was not acceptable to me. Some of the terms and conditions were verbally agreed at the time of booking but he was not ready to put them on paper.
After having many rounds of discussion, I cancelled by booking in Nov 2008.
But builder never refunded the booking amount. Now he is not even ready to talk.
Please guide me in filing my case to consumer court.

Balaji Enclave in 29A cross Kaggadasapura is having 12 flats. It has 3 builders and at the time of purchase, it was told they provide 6 member lift and genset. During 2008 Jun -2010 Jan period they sold all the flats and they gave only 4 member lift and backup generator is not yet provided. Is it possible to go to consumer court as most of us completed atleast one year stay in the building. Whom should we approach for right solution.
For the information of public, I’m providing their names to be cautious while buying buy flats or independent houses from these fellows.

My daughter booked a bus ticket through ‘redbus.in’ for a journey from Mumbai to Mangalore by ‘Vishal Travels’ during last week of December. She reached the boarding point well before the departure time. The bus reached the boarding point and she was not allowed to board the bus. The bus authorities told that they are not having internet booking and there is no seat to accomodate you. After repeated calls ‘redbus.in’ authorities told to contact thier Bangalore Office for refund of the fare. Even after two months, either they have refunded the fare nor released the damages claimed by me till date. You are kindly requested to advise me the procedure to claim the fare and the damages from the ‘redbus.in’ authorities.

I am staying in bangalore for past one and a half years.Initially when I came to bangalore I was staying in a PG where I paid Rs.9000 advance for which the owner said she would give the rental agreement the next day.But as time passed she did not give me the rental agreement and everytime I asked she kept postponing it.Now that I have to shift my PG and when asked abt my advance she is not paying a heed to it..On top of it she and her husband is harassing me with abusive words.I know its a mistake from my part that i did not get the agreement and I do not have any proof to file a case.But Can i file a case for talking to me in abusive language.she and her husband is treating me like a beggar.I am very upset because of this.This is not just the case with me.she does the same thing to my other roomie too.She cheated us by not giving advance back.Can I really do something about it?.Please Let me know.I would be very thankful if I could get any sort if help in this regard.

I have invested 1 Lac Rs ($2100 USD) in Forex in Harvest Future (http://www.hif-india.com/), after 40-45 days, i have got to know that there more than 95% loss, and approx 4500 Rs ($99.9) left on my account. When I have checked with the Kiran(the Harvest Employee, who did the transaction), he and his manager have not given any information of what transaction have been made and how all the money is lost. (For the same duration, other customers account has not been in loss, if its due to market conditions, then all the similar account would have gone to loss).
As per the agreement, they were supposed to give me update on my money everyday. And the consumer can whithdraw the ammount at any point of time.
But, Whem I have asked for update, Kiran told me, that I have to wait till the month end, and then only he can tell me how much money i m having in my account.
Trusting on him i waited for a month, but by then all my money has been losed.
This is a total case of fraud and cheating. If he would have told me at an early stage, I would have taken my money back. But he didnt given any update because for every transaction, the referee, the channel partener and the company gets a share. So instead of customer’s interest, they have done this at their own interest and profit.
When I went and meet with Kiran/His manager and the General Manager, and demanded the compansation, first they simply denied to return my money. But after understanding their fault, they got agree to return my money back. They asked to wait for a week.
After one week when I called them, they simply denied to give my money back.
Please let me know, If i can raise a complaint against them and what is the procedure? and which consumer court I need to approach, as there are a lot of offices.

For the past 3 months i am not getting any channels properly and sun Direct proved they are 100% shameless fellows by all means. They proved they are from political origin. Unfortunately i paid upto June 2011 and i am sick with this service provider. These fellows are unable to maintain their existing services but keep on selling new connections for a poor amount. Hi, We were new to bangalore and I have a 2 yr old son. We admitted our kid in a day care “KIDDIE JUNCTION” IN PAI LAYOUT. The owner of the day care is ROJA. She intially gave us a lecture how they nurture the kids over there. After admitting only we realized that how worst unhygenic place was. They are celebrating birthdays with old rotten cakes and was distributed to all kids, who all ate without realizing they were bad. My son was one among them to have that. When I identified this she started threatening myself and my kid. Use absuing languages in front of others so that no one can believe our words. Its is the most expensive day care around that area and they are not hygenic at all. Daily my kid will have so many mosquito bytes in his whole body. He is scared to go to that day care. Its my humble request to you all, not to put your kids in that daycare if you are concerned about your kids. I want to register a complaint against this day care. If any one how to do that, plz advice.

we are having two BSNL broadband connections.
For one connection, the billing is on an average Rs.1200/- for every month. This was using by me.
For the other connection, the billing from April to July is on an average Rs.1100/-. This connection was using by our director and she left for US in June.
For August month, bill was generated on 14th Sept and the amount is Rs.23,000/-. Immediately i brought this BSNL notice and they had informed me that they will check internally (some NIB report through their systems office) and come back to back
By the time, they came back to me, September month bill was generated on 14th Sept and the amount is Rs.21,000/-.
Again i had informed to them.
They had informed me that usage was there from our port and they can’t help.
For your information, there is no user (she is in US), no computer, modem is in off mode. The same i had explained to them.
They are not listening to all this and they told me to change to unlimited plan which is Rs.6,000/-.
I told them, if there is no usage, where is the question of unlimited….
finally they reduced the billing and requested me to pay Rs.7,000/- for each bill ( 2 bills @ Rs.7,000/- each)
I told them, this is not OK, raising a false bill and reducing to some extent…..
Please help me to whom I can approach for better justice.

I had taken internet connnection of bsnl 3g so that i could use it while travelling also.
I was contacted by the provider on 26th of november 2010 and he took the total payment above Rs 3000 or more saying that it would take 3days to active. i have taken a rs. 785 plan. it has 18gb to be used for 3months.
3days are over and today is dec 15th. he is not picking my calls and i’m in total confusion as to how to get in touch with this person.

Before paying the advance i informed the house owner that my marriage might be fixed this year or later so i might vacate within a year, he said i need to inform him 3 months b4 i vacate so that he will return the advance money.

I took a tata photon whiz connection, but it is a very slow connection(hardly 3 kbps).I have applied for diconnecting it, but it is almost 20 days, but they did not take any action. They even sent my bill for this month, although it is their mistake that they are not dis connecting it.

Please do not buy this property it has been over 4 years not even 30% is ready. They are just putting roof slabs so that they can ask more money from the customers.
We regret booking a flat in Ganga Vertica. Later on we backed off from the project as we were not comfortable after a legal advice that we sought personally and technical advise from the technical reviewer from an engineer now we are not getting our hard earned money paid for booking….
Their officials especially Bangalore GM ANUP KHANDELWAL is a cheat and very unprofessional (If I could I would have written bad words but am not like him). I do not know how he can behave rudely with customers who are polished and qualified.
Even after 2 months we are not getting our refund for cancellation.
They are missing important certificates of quality from BDA.
All the papers not in order nationalized banks not giving loans only AXIS and HDFC pvt banks whom they have paid money they are giving loans.
Technical reports there are valuation problem they demand 65% demand where as valuator values 0nly 43%.
On top the GM Mr.Anup Khandelwal should be thrown out of the comapny he doesnot have manners to speak and is a unprofessional ,uneducated baniya attitude.

It has been almost 2 weeks since I have mailed regarding the Refund of Online money transaction for ticket cancelling. Although, there was a positive response immediately after that, NOTHING has been done towards the refund of the money. It was shocking to see Red bus does nothing towards such major issues like online money transfer. There was a no response all the time I called the helpline no. (080) 394-12345. After my repeated reminder, they havn’t contacted me so far.

I am a consumer of Videocon d2h. My customer id is 1933347. On 13 Feb 2011 I did a net-banking transaction through SBI to recharge my videocon account with Rs 2900. But after the transaction a page was displayed, saying “Payment has failed. Recharge operation was not performed.” It even says a column as Ammount- 2900 and Paid- Failed. I checked my SBI account and found that Rs 2900 has been deducted from my account in the name of “INB Bharat Business Channel L MERCHANT_CODE Payment” reference number “IG41132862″.
I called up Videocond2h customer care and talked to someone called sanket. He says that they have no connection with SBI for netbanking facility. Whereas even now the page is coming with options of SBI in Netbanking allocation. But even after banging my head i could not explain them the situation. Sanket said that they have not received any transaction details from my account.
I was told to wait for 36hrs and money will be reimbursed. BUt it didnt. I called up after 48hrs. I was told again that they have no connection with SBI bank in net-banking. But even now the link is alive.
I called up SBI customer care and they say that net-banking and mobile-banking complains are not lodged since SBI is not responsible for the transaction. Then the question is where did the money go? And what can a common man do about it if we are fooled on our faces in this manner?
How can i get back my money? Please help.

I need your help. 3 months back i have taken a house on rent. I paid 10 months’ rent in advanced to the owner. Now i want to vacate the house. As per agreement if I want to vacate the house I should informed the owner before 2 months. That i did 2 months back. Now he is not ready to return my money. He is forcing me to stay and asking me to give the keys to a broker so that he can look for some other tenant.
Please help me if I can take any legal action against him.

i was using AIRTEL service from last 6 six years. On 26th of january i gone for 2GB free download 98/- rupee GPRS 2G plan. On feb month i got a shocking bill of Rs.13,161/-.
I asked 121 customer care, they are replying that the charges are valid. later i got to know thAT, THEY HAVE enabled 3G instead of 2G.On the same day itself they have enabled 3G trial use for all the customers without their permission or concern. & put charges for that. Also my credit limit is 4000/- , acc. to itemised bill statement, my credit limit crossed 4000/- on 27th jan only. but they have not informed me until unbilled amount goes upto 24000/-
Now from past 5 weeks i’m facing mental tension, torture,not getting clear responce, every time different persons asnwering the call in customer care centre, nobady is resolving the issue. even i got all the sms’s sent by airtel for the proof. & i just asked them two proofs
1. my request to them for enabling 3G
2. why they have not informed when my credit limit crossed.

I have booked two tickets (Bangalore to Delhi) for 19th of march 2011 on 13th of March due to some errands running I decided to shift my destination to Jaipur and for that I called customer care of this Airline (GoIndiGo) thinking that if they could help. There customer care executive told me that they have seat availability in other flight which is bangalore to jaipur with Rs1700 additional amount i have to pay for two tickets, I coudnt agreed more to this offer , next question asked to me was if i want to goahed with this offer he had to cancel the current ticket and new tickets will be booked which is bangalore to jaipur with Rs1700/- extra for this i nodded and asked him to do the same (I nodded for new ticket with jaipur as destination offered to me and just not for cancelation of current tickets), after keeping me onhold for almost 10 minutes that executive stated with no ticket he can offer and cancellation is confirmed. it means that executive has canceled my confirmed tickets without even confirming that new tickets for me ..and adding to my agony he has deducted Rs1500/- as cancellation fees…..i asked him now what should i do he told me now you have to pay Rs12000/- to book two tickets again for the same day …now this getting upto my nose cause this is outrageous and unacceptable as and customer they should not do this untill and unless they have tickets in buffer they should not cancel a confirm ticket and come back saying that ..tickets were available earlier and now not , thn i asked him why’d he canceled my tickets if he was not sure ..they have no answer above of that they told me that they have canceled the tickets cause i asked them to without mentioning that they were booking other tickets for me that is why i asked them to cancel not just like that..

Hi,
I am using the Airtel postpaid connection. I activated GPRS weekly pack of 140 rupees on 11th March. I received the message from customer care saying weekly pack is activated and charged 140 rupees. I called the cacustomer care and downloaded GPRS settings and started using it. So on 20th march bill got generated, I was shocked to see that, they charged 6000 rupees for 1 week from 11th march to 18th march, instead of 140 rupees.So I gave complaint and they argued its not activated on 11th march, after showing the proofs they accepted that it’s activated on 11th march and gave the waiver of 280 rupees instead of deducting the usage charges of 6000 rupees.
I have every proof of it’s activated on 11th march and they are not accepting telling me to pay bill. I already travelled to airtel office and called many times to customer care but still they are not solving problem inspite of snowing all the proofs.
Please look into the matter and stop corruption from the Airtel services.
I am completly irriteted by this Airtel services and looking forward for your reply.

My claim has been erroneously and deliberately rejected on the sole ground that I was suffering from the disease for 1-1/2 years as mentioned under the heading ‘History of presenting illness. Senior consultant Cardiologist of Hospital has vide his certificate dated 23.12.2010, in clear and categoric terms has clarified and certified that there was manual error in recording previous history, meaning thereby that I was suffering from Chest pain for the last 3 hours in stead of 1-1/2 years. I had an agency completely botch my requiremets to have some documents apostille stamped. as a fall out of that delay i had to start the process all over again and which in turn caused me to postpone my flight tickets to netherlands which caused me additional expenses to the tune of 40000, not to mention the fees i paid the agency to do the documents.

I thought I will post my problem here to get some suggestions/inputs before going to Consumer court.
I approached on 26-June-2011 a under construction project of a well-known builder in Bangalore. I saw a board saying that a model flat is available. I went in and saw and I was ok with it. I discussed with site executive and he told me that almost all flats are booked (By the way, I wanted a 3 BHK). Only two flats are available [One in the 1st floor of one block and the other on the 3rd floor in a different block]. I was preferring 3rd floor because I had been staying in another apartment for past 11 years on 3rd floor. But, the site executive told that it is south facing. So, I did not consider it.
While explaining the floor plan of the 1st floor flat, the site executive drew East-West-North-South directions in the brochure [I have that brochure with me on which he drew]. With whatever he drew, it was perfect wrt Vasthu. I immediately gave cheque for Rs.1,00,2096/- booking amount and also application form. Only drawback with this 1st floor flat was that balcony size is lesser than that of other flats in other floors. I was ok with it since I did not want to go to very top floors.
Things were moving fine [with bank loan application and paper work]. I received agreement forms on 9-Jul-2011. Though I received it in the afternoon, I looked at the documents in the night since I was busy with something that day. I wanted to see all the documents finally once before signing. To my shock, whatever vasthu I considered, all of them became reverse. Then I started wondering how it can happen when I looked at it very carefully. That is a prerequisite for me while deciding to buy a flat. I wanted to root-cause. I thought about it for 15 minutes or so and looked at all the papers I had filed. To my surprise, the site executive while explaining the East-West-North-South directions, he interchanged North and South directions. That is the cause of my problem. I do not know if this was a mistake or well-planned.
I too relied on him and did not notice the mistake. I went ahead with what he wrote.
When I approached them, they said they will not be able to give me back the booking amount if I cancel. I am planning to go to consumer court for this. Though building is offering me a flat on 15th (top-most) floor which suits my vasthu considerations, I am not wholeheartedly willing to accept it. Moreover, they are asking me to send a request to them saying that I am transferring my booking from 1st floor to 15th floor due to personal reasons for which I am not agreeing.
If the site executive did not interchange North and South directions, since flats are not available in lower floors, I would not have booked and most likely, I would have booked a flat with other adjacent builder.

On April 2011, I purchased Prestige Induction stove for 3900rs. On july 2011, I have taken to Prestige dealer near by in K.R.Puram, to rectify the defect in frame which has worn out. After 10 days when i went to receive the product, he said, the problem was not rectified and said to wait till 10 more days. I asked him to give back my product and he gave back. I was using the stove, as is with the defect. After 10 days stove got some defect, and short circuit happened and current supply to my home was disconnected. I went to other prestige dealer in tin factory. He replied give your ph. no. and I will call you back and tell you when to bring. Since , there is demand in pcb for this product. Till now he didn’t call me.
Kindly advise me about the procedures & steps involved in initiating a legal complaint against them. Thank you

The service provider charged the total bill of Rs. 3950/- stating that the new PCB Board has been Re-placed in the TV.
The service man while bring the TV confirmed that there is no new PCB Board has place in the TV, It is the Old PCB Board only has been fitted.
When I enquired the same to Service provider he threatened me for dare consequences.

I bought a Samsung Front Load Washing Machine just a month back and the machine is not functioning properly. I had called Samsung Customer Care many number of times and they kept offering me to send the engineer to rectify it, atleast 3 times now, but no one turned up. They keep calling and take the appointment but no one turns up. Now I informed Samsung that I lost trust on them and want the refund, they say they will not give refund. They challenge me that I can do what ever i want but will not get a refund.
Kindly adv what shall I do. I do not have any more trust on them as I had given them 3 appointments on 3 different days and no one turned up. How shall i go about this?

I had joined a course in TWB (The Writer’s Block), 19th Main, Indiranagar, Bangalore. They were charging Rs. 4 lakhs for the 1-year course. After 4 months itself, I realized that the course was totally worthless. I had paid Rs. 1 lakh, so it was a clear loss of Rs. 1 lakh for me. Two other students also dropped out along with me. When I had protested about the poor quality and time waste by the teachers in the course, the owner of the institute shouted to intimidate me for daring to protest. They made many false promises like ‘Singapore trip’, ‘MBA degree’, and all this was never fulfilled. All the other eight students also want to file a case against this institute. But we people have suffered because we are not very aware of our rights, and about the legal hassles. So institutes like TWB are happily eating money, and getting away with their false promises.
Furthermore, they had asked me submit my original documents for the course. I submitted them on 22 Oct 2009. They lost one of my original certificates. Now after countless requests by email, phone, and personal visits over the last two years, they have not returned it. I have a copy of all my request mails. Yesterday, I indicated that I will take legal recourse, but again the TWB person, Rupa by name who joined TWB only 3 months back, but is now contacting me, is very ill-mannered and talks nonsense that I’m trying to extort money out of TWB. These people are experts in making excuses and in talking cheap.
I want to expose the fraudulent people in this institute, and sue them for more than 2 years of harassment.
Please guide me. I want everybody like us to get justice from the dishonest people like those TWB.
Should I file a police complaint about my original certificate lost by TWB? I’m apprehensive because I do not know how difficult it would be to file my complaint with the police here in Bangalore, since I’m not familiar with Kannada. I’m also not sure whether they will take any action against TWB.
Please guide me.

I have purchased a mobile(12/12/2011) (Sony w100i costs 5100.Rs) which is having many defects and problems especially while typing a message suddenly it shows out of memory,if i delete full message in my inbox & sent items also further i cant create a new message therefore i need to restart the phone than i can type a new massage. so,i had been to Sony authorized service center about 3-4 times regarding the problem but i didn’t solved, they are saying that, the internal memory will be 5.1MB above this it displays as out of memory, if u delete also u can’t type a new msg also can’t forward, you need to restart the mobile,and said we can’t do anything regarding this.
But now the warranty period has been lapsed. I’m disgusted with the phone while chatting with friends.
The thing is, i was not knowing about the “COPRA” act before, i came to know recently by that time warranty has been lapsed.
THE MAIN I NEED TO ASK IS “CAN WE FILE A CASE AFTER THE WARRANTY PERIOD???”. If YES, please please please suggest me how to file a case.

Eco Trans Packers & Movers did Fraud
I recently transfer my household goods from ahmedabad to bangalore through Eco Trans Packers & Movers (a unit of eco trans logistics).
As per the quotation and agreed before, we paid the full amount with Insurance Cover of 1,00,000.
On 07.01.2012 Eco picked up the materials and good were delivered on time but we identified infront of the delivery team that majority of furniture was damaged/Scratched. We mentioned all the damages on back of lorry copy.
They conveyed and confirmed that Insurance Person will come next day of delivery (tomorrow ) to inspect the damage and claims and no one turned out after a week also.
We were trying to contact them initially but they were not picking phones and it made us approached their Head office at Pune (to Mr Kuldeep choudhary).
Mr kuldeep asked us for the list of damage and estimations and we have provided the estimated amount of 42000/- which was observed and estimated by local carpainter.
We were very unhappy as we got to know that, the Eco has not taken Insurance for which i have alrady paid the premium, I paid in advance(Insurance Premium & Transfer Cost), I have bills and receipts with me.
They accepted their mistake and replied positively towards bearing the expences for the damaged items as per our provided estimation details.
After several conversations, they are now trying to avoid my calls.
They are not at all replying to any of my emails, all conversations are on phones only, Everytime i write emails to them confirming the discussion & status.
After having frustated with them would like to approach this Forum for seeking justice towards my loss.

I took a program from vibes koromangla banglore, and after a day when got to know about the vibes that its just a fooling program, and went for refunding my bill amount which is around 50 thousand, they have refused for this stating that amount is not refundable.

I wanted my family to visit SRILANKA for a short holiday. I had visited a tours & travel company so that they could guide me, they advised me to book the tickets to SRILANKA and they started the visa processing. I went ahead and booked the tickets, but my moms visa didn’t get through as she has only 6 months left for the passport to expire and according to the Srilankan Govt. the tourist must have atleast 6 months passport validity after returning to the native country. Now I have to cancel the tickets as my moms visa didn’t get through, and I am facing a loss of 10,000 INR.
Can i file a complain against these tours & travel people as they misguided me & told me to book the tickets and a result of which i had to bear unnecessary loss?

I have purchased purchased HCL tablet (Model No. AM7-A1) on 25th March 2012 from Croma outlet Bangalore. I could not check the product whether each and every screws or any other minute part present in that. Later when i reach to home i came to know that some parts is missing ( It is a lastic cap and they have given damaged charger). When i reach my house, i was checking the features and other operations, i came to know that the tablet is just like a lcd diplay and anyone of the features not working, i could not submit the product to HCL service center since i had gone for two weeks foriegn tour. When i back to bangalore i submited the tablet to service center on 11th April 2012. After 2 weeks they called me told that, the product is out off warranty (How come the product will be out off warranty within 2 weeks span) i called the HCL customer care and register a complaint. Later they extended my tablet warranty for one more year. But the HCL service center executives failed to deliver the material on time and fake promises. I have received the new tablet (Warranty Replacement) on 7th May 2012. When i check the material, the same issue repeating ( features are not working viz., calling, wifi, camera, GPRS, messaging ect..) and even there are lot of deep scratches on the material. There are few more complaints araised with the new warranty replaced tablet. Display is not working, its getting switched off automatically (The whole tablet) and lots more. I have paid Rs.20000 for the product but still im not able to use. Please guide me to file a coplaint against HCL.

I had taken Deutsche Bank cerdit card on 03/07 and expired on 03/10.I never made any purchases or cash withdrawl from Credit card.I didn’t receive any renewal card or new card.
Last Month I received statement saying that outstanding due is Rs.114894.04 and to be paid immediately.When I called customer support they said that I done some hotel booking and not clear which hotel and where in the year 2008 for Rs.4567.79 and cumulative interest gone to that amount.But,I never received Mobile Alert or Mail or statement to my address regarding outstanding amount and have been staying in the same house from the year 2007.When I asked the customer support executive then he is saying some unknown(Balaji) name and he has taken or company seal is there which are not the correct answers.
Please guide me how to go about this.

We have taken cable connection and always we had problem so they have suggested us to take the setupbox so that there will be no problem and we did the same but still 2 days once we had problem from more than 1 years everytime we complain and they say we will come and check and they never come and many times night it will go and till next day morning it will not work. So we told them till you come and check and correct we will not pay monthly charges but they have come and disconnected the connection. This is a complaint on Pantaloons store located within Mantri Square in Malleshwaram, Bangalore.
We purchased a Titan Watch, costing Rs.3500. It was defective, which they agreed, so we returned it and they claimed to “replace with a new one”. It is clear now that a local watch-maker (not even Titan) has attempted to repair the faulty one and that itself has been given to us. Now, within 2 weeks, the watch-work mechanism is ruined and the watch has stopped working totally – the needles are jammed. Clearly, they have fooled us. hi, i had a software company with a product, due to financial
reason i had to merge with another comapany, i had spent 27 lakhs in one year for product development which the new company endorsed and had a contract for one year.
after merger company either gave technical support or marketing support the new clients acquired also not happy with the service.

I happened to purchase Casio mens watch from fashion and you. After waiting for long i received a womens watch. When i sent them a screen shot they acknowledge that this is the same watch that i had ordered.
Then i sent them a screen shot of the tag that was there on the watch which clarified that its a womens watch with a supporting link from Casio. The site denies its fault. Kindly be aware of this site this cheats customers and also mentally tortures them when called on their customer support number.
Customer support executives were horrible, instead of apologizing they give you all false information and even do drop your calls when you demand more explanation.
I would like to sue them for inconvenience caused.

Till 31st December 2011 I had used a broadband connection from Bharti Airtel in Hebbal. As I was relocating to M S Palya on 1st January 2012, I requested Airtel to shift the broad band connection to the new locality. But since, airtel doesn’t have the connection feasibility in M.S. Palya; they could not shift the connection because of which I sent a cancelation request of broad band to airtel on 27th December 2011. I received the acknowledgment on the same day saying that they will resolve the issue within seven working days. After the request for cancelation, I got hundreds of calls from different executives from the airtel customer service requesting for shifting or transfer of the connection. I told them that if the connection feasibility is available in M.S. Palya I would defiantly go for it as I was happy with their service. Again they got it checked and confirmed the unavailability of the connection in M.S. Palya. Instead of canceling the connection they kept the connection active and raised the bill for January and February 2012 which was around Rs. 1800. When I refused to pay the bill for two months during which I have not used a single byte of their broadband connection they sent me a mail saying that if I don’t pay Rs. 1358, they will put a case on me in Lokadalat. I did not pay even then. Last week on Thursday I got a call from a person who introduced himself as a “Munshi” in the Dehli court saying that if I do not pay the due amount I will have to come to Delhi to fight the case. To avoid the trip to Dehli I paid the bill of Rs. 1358. Now I want to put a case of fraud and harassment on Bharti Airtel.

This is with regards to my important documents that was sent via Proffesional couriers on 27 th July 2012 from Aluva, Kerala. I haven’t received my courier till today.
I have received a call from a person mobile number 9741421106 and he confirmed my address on monday and promised me that he will deliver the courier on monday.
After that i haven’t received any response from him and he is not picking my calls..
I have called the KR puram office, bangalore regarding this and they directed me to Rammurthy nagar office. When visited today, they are not bothered to check this..
Kindly let me know where my courier is and it contains the original bills that i have to claim on Aug 3rd.
I will be approaching the local police station to file an FIR regarding the same and follow the consumer courts action(which is already in the TO field of the email) for a compensation if this is not properly dealt with.

Dear Sir / madam, i had booked Royal Enfield 350 Classic on 29th June 2011 at TEKNIK MOTORS IIBULUR SARJAPUR ROAD BRANCH, on receipt it was mentioned a waiting period of maximum 10 months but till now i have not got delivery of my vehicle. The Branch Manager satyanarayan had been asking me to pay the whole amount but he is not promising any date for vehicle delivery and for the last 5 months he had been only telling me some vague excuses and promising that he would contact me but it never happened.

Rajesh Singh call me with +91 98 9701 0554 this no. and he said me that you are selected and for technical and hr round you have to come to Bangalore. He send me an interview letter and give me three dates 22sept,2012, 23sept,2012 and 24sept,2012. He said choose any one of date according to your requirement. We have given a consignment of Medicine to M/s GATI INTERNATIONAL to be delivered at KATMANDU (NEPAL) with the assured dated of delivery on 23-10-2012. For the commitment delivery they have collected a sum of Rs: 52000/- of huge Freight amount from us,but till 7th November 2012, they
have not delivered the consignment to our Party and on 8th only Part consignment delivered and they informed our party that they have delivered balance consingment on 18th. It is cleraly lapse of agreement/commitment of delivery schedule even after collected a huge freight amount, therefore, we (company) want to file a suit against GATI in the consumer court. Please guide us.

This is Manjula.I got furniture worth 35,000 from Houseful furniture, banashankari,bangalore.Delivery took one and half months.But promised to give in one month.Still we accepted ,to my bad luck they delivered fully torn defective sofa set.Delivery boy said I will keep here and inform they will repair(no question of replacement). Then continuously went to show room to get it repaired.They finally came took back the sofa set.When we called them we will repair today and tomorrow they r still postponing it from 15 days.Please imagine new set into new house,now house is without sofa set and there is function at home.When after long fight with manager bought some written letter saying will be delivered on particular day they r playing with us saying today and tomorrow.In our busy life we have lost our valuable time and postponed function ,I cant express the pain.I need this company to be closed.Please suggest,ready to do anything this company called Houseful furnitures should be closed.

I had booked a site in 2005 but the builder fail to allot the site to me. He had mentioned n the agreement copy that if he fails to allot the site he would pay me money back with interest of 18% per year . He has failed to allot the site and he paid me the principal amount and taken the orginal agreement copy and not paid the interest. He gave me the receipt on 15.3.2012 for the interest amount stating that he has taken the money from me on interest free loan for a period of 6 months. But he has not paid me the money till date. Can any one help me how to proceed.

This is with regard to the query raised with Standard Chartered Bank in the month of july,12 and till now they have not come back with a positive response and they are charging irrelevant amount to pay. Below is the email sent to services head for your reference.
“Hello – Help me if you can ?
This is with regard to the query raised in the month of July’12 and still it is being unresolved and I’m very disappointed with the progress of this issue and one of the representative called me and told that my name is in SEBIU and if I pay the amount my name will be removed from SEBI list.
I have sent ‘n’ number of emails (enclosed only few because of size constraints) to investigate on this matter and I have clearly mentioned saying I will not pay any amount unless and until this query is investigated.
I have few concerns which needs to be addressed.
1. Why your representatives will make false promises to customer’s like me ( not sure how many customers have facing this kind of problems).
2. How much time your Bank needs to investigate a query when raised by a customer ? (because I have raised my query in the month of July’12 and still this is not resolved)
3. Why Bank has charged Late payment Fees when the query is still not resolved ?
4. Why my name is appearing in SEBI list when the fault is in your organization ? ( Standard Chartered should have been there in SEBI’s cheating list)
5. How a customer trust a reputed Bank like Standard Chartered to continue his/her customers.
6. How you have done if you had been in my situation to get this sorted ? ( to every top level in your organization)
I’m going to consumer court as I’m mentally tortured and why my name is sent to SEBI when the fault is with the Bank.
I somehow managed my friends & family members for not being a customer for standard chartered for not being a victim (like me) to your organization.
Let me know if you need any more facts on this of you to investigate.

We(I and my room mate) take broadband connection from Tikona Digital Networks on 6 September even though they established connection on 9 September but they are charging us from 6th September because we paid them then(pain 2800 rupee then). Also we filed a lot of complains regarding the poor connection but nothing improved. Now as we are expecting them to cut the connection on 9th December(we had taken 3 moth plan then),they send us a post on 16 this month saying that our connection is renewed automatically and displaying us the 2086 rupee charge due and saying that we will have to pay the amount otherwise they will send us legal notice. They never told about this before. We do not want to continue this connection but now they are imposing it on us. Expecting your serious concern to this problem

I have purchased a membership from Casa Retreat where i just learnt that i have been cheated and many others are also facing the propblem where the Casa will never book a holiday or will refund kindly help me what to do they have clearly mentioned in thier agreement to solve any isuues through arbitration but i dont think it will work please help me ASAP.

I was just visiting this site, seems many people like me are here, who have been cheated by companies, brokers and agents etc etc.
Ofcourse, we can go to consumer court and try getting justice, but we as a consumer also need to be more aware now, we should not be believing on anyone just like that…we ourselves need to be conscious here.

I have ordered a Nokia Mobile 206 on 27-March-2013 at shopclues.com. Already I have paid the amount. Till date the product is not delivered to me.i keep on calling shopclues Customer Service Personel and every time they will tell within 48hrs we will resolve , but it’s almost 20days over .
