Hi,
Those who are going to Dhanush driving school please make sure that you are getting the training on the vehicle you opted for. One of my friends wanted to learn WatonR and they training school said they have a WagonR available for training. But my friend never got the experience on Wagon R instead he had to learn it on Estilo and Santro.

I learned driving through Grace Driving School. The instructors are very good and they are very patient as well. they don’t make u wait unnecessarily. They teach u for exact one hour. It is really value for money.

Don’t opt for Grace Driving School !!
My husband joined Grace Driving School for a 10 days course (for Rs.2500/) but faced a lot many problems. They are not able to manage the timings. Class was scheduled to be at 9am daily which happened only for 4days. For rest of the days they either canceled it at the last moment or changed the timings with out bothering about my husbands availability at that time. So my advice for all of you is don’t go for this school this is a total wastage of time and money.

Dhanush driving school is a big cheater. Never ever go there for your training. They don’t have any instructors or cars. One thing you will notice is that they will ask you to pay 50% fee immediately when you go there for classes. After you have paid the money you are completely stuck. I had to go through such bad times with them that I will never recommend them to any one.

I have learnt my driving in Grace. They are very good. They will make sure that.. we will get the license…
July 3rd, 2010 at 9:36 am
Grace..They turn all the rear view mirrors for themselves to see. They apply the break and clutch by themselves. They even touch the steering to “correct” us often. On the whole, they drive the car on our behalf. What will I learn ?
July 19th, 2010 at 7:01 pm
NO NO to modern driving school. They are pure cheaters. The owner will not let you drive freely and will always pull your hands from the steering wheel – he is there to take care of his car and not you. Also he will make you sit through the whole learners license test and there have been guys who appeared and failed in the exams for like 4-5 times on an average cause he doesnt pay the RTO guys anything. No matter which car he trained you on “YOU WILL GIVE THE LICENSE TEST IN AN ALTO” thats cause that is the only vehicle he has registered with them. The car sucks and is like a decade old.
August 19th, 2010 at 5:35 pm
Completely agree with Arnab Big NO NO to modern driving school. The owner promises that you can learn which ever car you are comfortable in but will tell you in the end to pratice in Alto for last 1 or 2 classes as DL test will be in that only. That car is poorly maintained & is age old. They do not let us drive freely & worst is the instructor will be talking continously on cell phone on one hand & control the stiring with the other hand. They do not follow any timings and they take holidays as and when they like. They teach driving in all the small bylanes where there are lot of schools & if ur timing coincides with the school leaving time then its utter chaos as you will have to wade thru the sea of children which is very risky.

Had a very bad experience with Dhanush driving school. Will not recommend it to anyone.
I went for a 10-day refresher course and found them to be Totally unprofessional. They
- Collected half the money on day one
- Insisted that I pay the rest of the money on day 5
- After that the class happened for one more day. And that was it.
- The instructor kept cancelling class after class, and never came after that.

January 16th, 2011 at 4:51 pm
it sucks. really man.
agree instructors may be ok, but time and batch-management really matter – and it is very bad at grace.
you get only 10 classes for 3.5K, and so many classes get cancelled without notice. you’d be waiting early-morning without the car turning up, and when u call them they’d say it is cancelled/postponed for the day. after 6 classes you’d be struggling to schedule the next 4 classes.
the guy at the reception desk phone is just there to say that manager is not available and doesnt have a mobile, and that he’ll call back when he comes in – which never happens. they could’ve put an answering machine to do his job.
i have personally visited grace twice, and each-time i saw some customer having a fight with them in-person or on-phone, wrt nothing but “delay/followup” getting something done. But i agree the office-staff are better well-behaved than the owner; i was amazed watching the way the owner is ruthless in talking to a customer. he talks as if he is returning favors getting things done for the customers.
but doesnt look like there’re any other options left out in kagadaspura though.. right? perhaps thats why these guys are having fun doing whatever they want.
all we can do is shut up and chose the lesser-evil, which is.. does it matter which? when it is evil anyways..

I went to Danush driving school and they kept canceling many classes and insisted we pay them money in advance.I did however pay them, but for 10 months either they cancelled or it did not match my timings. But finally I wound up paying for the test Rs100 to pass the driving license test. I got my license but yet to learn driving with confidence. On the other hand my friend went to grace and learnt driving properly, but failed the driving test 1st time, so he also paid Rs100 to pass the test. But he is a better driver than me. So I would never recommend Danush at all. They are not worth a penny and their instructors are very unprofessional. I used to drive to their office and wait a long time. Comparatively the grace driving school would send their car on time or call 3hours in advance to cancel. I am not sure of any other school so can’t pass any remarks on that. But Danush is a big no no!!!!

DHANUSH DRIVING SCHOOL is a big NO NO..
I am really fed up of these people. They keep on cancelling the classes. Every time they have one new reason ready to cancel the class. And the worst part is, they insist to pay the money in the first class only. For some reason I couldn’t pay them in the first class, So the person at the driving class started forcing me to pay the money then and there. And once i paid them, they started showing their real colors. My car is at home and i dont know to drive. pissed off with them

I think it is better to spend Rs 3500 on petrol if we can take the car on a long drive with somebody we know. For eg: I learnt my driving while going for a long drive with my family and we had a driver for the journey who taught me driving. 1) Instead of spending money for 10 classes and not learning enything, this is the BEST option. 2) Initially, let the driver teach you only steering balance by sitting next to him, no other controls like gear or clutch, brake accelerator, etc. 3) When there is a highway (I dont mean the four lanes, but all the Tamil Nadu highways where not many vehicular traffic is there. I could learn in one long drive itself. Let the male in the family learn it first and can teach the females as well once he learns. The advantage is that you learn driving and you also can go for a vacation, instead of learning it in the city with the full control in the trainer’s hands. Also, when my friend who tried learning from the Driving school finished learning for the 10 days time, the driver asked her to give Rs 150 per day to teach her properly. This is another technique used by trainers to collect extra money. Might be this is the reason why drivers of Dhanush, etc keep on cancelling the sessions often, so that meanwhile they will go and teach personally. Moral of the story is : LEARN YOURSELF and dont depend on the driving schools.

Hi All,
This is about my experience with the MODERN DRIVING SCHOOL in NAGAVARPALAYA. My Necessity was to get a Name Transfer for a two-wheeler done. I was suggested this place by a mechanic Near Kaggadasapura 1st Cross. Since he suggested I contacted him as I was not aware of who was doing it.
At 1st when I went to him he asked me for a list of documents. Which I submitted as requested in a couple of days. But when I got those documents then he said that some of the documents that he mentioned when I met him first would not work and he needs some more additional documents inspite of the fact of me asking wether he needs any other documents apart from the one’s he mentioned the first time I met him.
I have no idea why these additional documents were asked the second time rather why not the first time. Sometimes it seems like they are taking us for a ride. If this was the case it would be better to get it done from some agents near the RTO who would rather get it done at a lesser cost and also not take us for a RIDE.
After he got the RC transfer he called me to come and collect it, when I went to collect it he is reluctant to give me the Address Proof that was made for the purpose of getting the RC transfer for which he had taken money from me.
Also this guy is not straight and tranparent in the process and take people for a RIDE.
Make sure you look for any other Driving School if you have a choice.
Lets Keep pouring in much more comments so that atleast people get aware by reading these and get to the right person.

All,
Go for MARUTI DRIVING SCHOOL. this brand lives up to our expectation. Yes, it is expensive, 6500rs for 10 classes and 4 theory classes. But if you really rely upon driving school then go for this.
I will suggest to hire one DRIVER, learn driving with him whenever you want. We hired full time driver for 3 months (8k/month).Me and my husband both learned meanwhile. We went to RTO, gave tests and got our license
. You can learn every day till you get 100% confidence with your choice of car.
Believe me it is a good option, decision is yours. Only luck you need id You need a obedient and good driver.

Grace is no different from other small scale driving school businesses. They are generous and listen to you which is important. Of course it really depends on how good or bad is your instructor. My experience was not bad or excellent but good. They helped me to get LLR license with extra charges(thanks to non performance of Govt RTO orgs)

A BIG NO TO DHANUSH…
Almost all the driving schools has the same problems. So before joining itself ask them to write it and give that these thing wont happen
– 10 hours of class they took one and half months to teach me .
– After paying all the required amount, they will ask 380/- for Smart card (Intially they told 3800 is including all)at the time of test drive. They wont mention this amount when we join. DO’NT give this amount.
–They will make you to wait, every day and postpone the classes every day. Only first day they will come for pick up.
– They wont take one hour completely.. In between classes drivers will go for a tea taking atleast 5 minutes.
– Also drivers will ask money. They will say all the customers will pay atleast 500/- to 1000/-. Dont give more than 100 Rs. Give this amount on the 8th hours or completing all the classes.
- You wont get the car which was opted by you. If you are opting for swift they they will provide santro or maruthi. Its always better to opt for the Santro which will be the cheapest rather than paying for swift and learning in santro car. Most of the customers will be opting for swift and it will be difficult to get that car as most of them are opting for it.
— You may need to pay 50% initially and rest after 5 hours of classes. Once pay the full amount then they will always postpone the classes. So DOnt pay the full amount. Tell them clearly that you will pay the rest of the amount only at the end of 10th class.
— One good thing is that they are technically good in teaching diriving
Regards

My Experience with DANUSH DRIVING SCHOOL . To all those who are going to join here please avoid it . These guys are a complete “CON” people . I joined a month ago and only 3 1/2 hours have been completed . I booked for a 6.30 am class and they keep changing timing or they wont even respond to your call and you have to be behind them .
After paying full amount they wont even bother to call you .
Even if you reach by 6.30 they will say will call and you would have to wait for 2hrs more for their call (where in you would have to call them continuously) .
About People who run the place :
1) Girish : Supervisor and a full time cheat or con
2) Palraj : this guy is the driving instructor for santro and he never comes in time and sits with you chewing pan at the instructor seat rather than instructing .
3) Venu gopal : Just have to be pretty careful with him , he talks bad about other people at the school like (girish and palraj) , yet he will be asking for tips now and then ( had booked for santro and due to some reason santro was not available they gave me Swift ) and he will talk as though he is the most experienced driver . Every time he will be asking for tips when ever you take classes from him. i sincerely believe he can beg rather than asking tips .
My advice please dont join them , look for better schools ,talk to your friends and get an idea about the schools they went . Try taking lessons from your friends rather than from Danush.
I totally gave up on them after giving 4K due to the above reasons .
BIG NO TO “DANUSH DRIVING SCHOOL”

Grace driving school is reasonable and good. The instructor was patient and punctual. The only problem was though they charge for an hour, the instructor would let me drive only for 45-50 mins. He would take tea breaks and stop everyday at their office to get my attendance card signed.

Don’t even think for Grace Driving School !!
My Friend joined Grace Driving School for Rs.3200/ but faced a lot problems. The In structure Mary (9538404818)is a big time cheater and always bluffs. They are not able to manage the timings. when my friend call Mary for class she always tells she is out of station. we caught her red handed in 2,3 times with the help of my another friends by just calling Mary to need a in structure. So my advice for all of you is don’t go for this school this is a total wastage of time and money.

Hi everyon,
I agree with all those people who agree that Dhanush Motor Driving School is a TOTAL SHIT.
1. In Vignana Nagar office, they’ve put on a board saying ‘We do not encourage giving tips to the Instructors’, some one has scribbled over it and the Trainers are like dual headed assholes, they smile and teach if you pay them or else they wont teach properly.
2. I opted training in Swift, the driver(named Ramanna) is such an asshole, he will be drunk most of the time and you just imagine what can he teach when drunk, he used to take atleast 15min break in every 1hour class.
3. Once he was so drunk that, he even started quarelling wid me and i was so much pissed off. I reported to Owner(Ramachandra) regarding his behaviour and asked to take action, only god alone knows what action he has taken. Later I asked to change the Instructor, then came Anand, he was also money maniac.. but he taught me better than that asshole Ramanna.
4. Initially, for Rs 4000 they said they would train as well as get DL, but they charged Rs 380 extra saying that it is for Govt.
Total Gurudakshina(thats what they used for snatching money from me) is 100+100+50+100=350.
Last but not least, they were very bad in time management, never came in time many times i used to go to their office & wait for hours.
If @ all you are going to opt Dhanush, never opt SWIFT coz the instructor is a drunkard shitty asshole. however u can go for i10(Anand as Instructor)
Dhanush is a total bullshit, I wont recommend this to anybody.

A big ‘NO’ to Dhanush driving school. Don’t ever think of going to Dhanush for driving classes. Really I had a very bad experience with them. They never stick to timing and keep postponing the classes. They always make false promises. By following regularly with them it took 3 months to complete the clasess. Training from driver venu literally is of no use. The only best part was my last 4 classes was given by driver Ramanna. His training is good.. no doubt.. But he’s always drunk.
I opted for Santro but they gave me swift and the test is on i10. They play nice tactics and make us pay more.
