Kaggadasapura Main Road
Yes, you are right! At last they have started road laying work at Kaggadasapura Main Road from Vignan Nagar. The speed at which the roads are being laid, they seem to complete the whole work in few days. So, is the wait over. Is the muddy kaggadasapura main road, history now ? Let us wait and see. Only few minutes of rain can tell.
During the last one year we have seen the road being dug for about two feet to be filled after few months with gravel. When we thought the road work is going to be completed, again the roads were dug this time on the middle for laying huge water pipes for Kaveri water (?!). One was left to wonder why such chaos in such a simple work of laying a road. Already digging has started at many places on kaggadasapura main road on the stretch from CV Raman Nagar for laying cables. We sincerely hope that they will be patched properly to avoid damage to the condition of main road in future.

Review of current condition of Kaggadasapura Main Road
Again Kaggadasapura Main Road seems to have come to Square One. On one side Airtel people are digging the road and on the other side BSNL does so. Airtel is atleast closing the pits and putting some gravel and tar, even though they cannot rectify the damage done by them. We wonder why these things were not done before tarring Kaggadasapura Main Road. Frequently we also see road being cut to the entire width to lay some pipelines or cables. BSNL people say that they have taken permission to cut the roads, but nobody bothers to repair it back to the same condition after their job is over. On 19th cross they have recently laid a concrete road (not sure whether it was done by BBMP), maybe the Bungalow owners have done it themselves or someone got it done through influence, God only Knows.

Excellent web site. Good job, keep it up.
I am a resident of Kaggadasapura. Just wanted to write about an observation about some new developments in this area. These days some road side vergetable sellers have occupied the pedestrian pathways in front of the DARE building and the one near the CV Raman nagar bus depot. This is going to make a mess in these areas and conjust the already conjusted KGDP road like the Nagavarapalya market. This will also make these areas dirty like markets.
Can we do something against this?

When will the road construction begin at 1st Cross, Kaggadasapura

Hi Rohit,
As per what our MLA S Raghu said on Janaspandana Meeting at Thippasandra, Road construction work will start from 19th Cross (Kaggadasapura village) and gradually move to other crosses. So 1st cross will come only in the end.

I am a new resident of kaggadaspura but have been living in bangalore for the last 25 years.seen kaggadaspura grow. now that roads have been laid it would be great if our MLA S.Raghu can give us water connection as already the pipes have been laid and the other end of the kaggadaspura main road is having water supply. Also one thing which i would like to point out , the wear and tear of the roads by the water lorries can also be minimised and noise pollution reduced.

New Tar roads have been laid in Abhaiya Reddy layout and Naggapa Reddy Layout.. Its a relief !!

when will the lake be cleaned (will reduce the pollution levels a great deal) and a park built instead of unlimited development? any really good area needs a public park where children and the geriatric population can enjoy some peaceful walks and games.
Can we put a petition to our MLA on this?

There are 2 things I noticed which are very important. I agree to Dinesh and Aurita on their comments. We will have to remove the Vegetable vendors on the roads and Local resident needs park and lake to relax.
Admin and Other Associations can we seriously initiate any action on these than just commenting on forums.

Regarding the cross roads I would like to bring to the notice of the residents of Kaggadasapura, During first week of Oct 2008 MLA Raghu had perfomed puja in front of my house (29th Cross) to lay the road till todate it remains a dream, I have been following with BBMP authorities but in vain they just give some or other excuse, I feel its time we all get together and approach the authorities concerened to air our grievances or else we have to stage a dharna by blocking the main roads as it was done earlier.

Road in 29th cross is very pathetic. I don’t know, when it will be going to be tarred. Lets compile all issues like water, road and put them properly to BBMP.

Dear all,
I am one of resident staying near railway track and i am finding most apartments between railway track and main road uses lands near railway track as dust bin. even though we get dust collectors every day or alternative days very few apartments collects dusts or junks in cover and give to them . i was also wondering one of senior member in krwa also do the same. it is unfortunate. request all to use dustbin and give to dust collectors which will make our area better

As PommiRavi suggested, residents of Kaggadasapura should initiate some serious action. Admin may get a petition with our demands signed by the residents and arrange for a meeting with our local MLA and BBMP etc.
I request all residents to participate in these efforts to get the facilities that deserve and are paying for. Please express your willingness here in this forum so that together we can pressurize the authorities to act on our demands.
Instead of complaining, let us do something about it.
