Online booking cost around 300/- more than counter booking as various other charges are including in the basic fare. I think that a lil bit too much. I would nt mind a difference of 100/- but 300/- is too much of a difference.

Useful information, but I need to add (from experience) that they (KSRTC) do not have Sleeper buses (like KPN, et.) so for those more than 5’6″ tall overnight travel by KSRTC is not very comfortable.
The KSRTC Shantinagar bus stand is behind Big Bazaar on the double road to Lalbagh Main Gate. If you plan to catch KSRTC buses fm Majestic leave early .. you will face jams just getting in to the Majestic Bus Stand in the evenings (leave fm Kagadaspra abt 1 1/2 hrs before bus dep. timing if u r going by auto / taxi)!
