I’d recommend New City Supermarket over Lamcy.
Lamcy is overpriced and the staff is bad mouthed and spiteful.

Lamcy is definitely overpriced. The management doesn’t care much about consumer complaints.

OLD and EXPIRED
Lamcy products not upto the mark. Anyways recommend our people to always look the expiry date prior to buying anything. There have been several instances where I had to tell the salesmen that he needs to move out some items due to their expiry date. Too bad that we need to spend our energy on such things.
Nilgiris too has many items that have surpassed their expiry dates. [my experience was with the packed beans and salsa]
New city super market : don’t even ask. In my 10 yrs in Kaggadaspura, not once did I come back from this shop with our leaving out items due to the same reason. Are they trying showcase ancient food stock ?

In New city super market they are selling vegetables and fruits very high price, they are very rudly behaving in vegetable counter.

New City Supermarket: Make sure you check your bills properly when you buy items from New City. They will sometimes increase the item count and charge you for that.
I brought 2 items from that shp and they put 3, when I was about to pay they were laughing and clapping, my brother saw this and we went back and asked them why they do fraud
