Not satisfied with Trendy School . They dont take care of changing diapers and facilities provided not at par with the fees taken.

Trendy kids school – expensive and they don’t take care of the kids properly. They don’t bother about feeding your kids or changing the diapers. The teachers there are rude, even if you are late by 5 mins to pick up your kid, they used to get angry. Infact I had to shift my kid to some other playhome midway due to this.

Yes I also agree . Especially in the evenings in the absence of the directors , the caretaker does not take care of changing diapers on time …….Not worth the money…

Review on Trendy Kids
I visited Trendy Kids and spoke to the directors some time back. I found the environment to be good except for some construction work going on outside the school. Caretakers were busy taking care of the kids. Few kids were sleeping cozily on their beds. Let us not forget the difficulty they face everyday to take care of the kids. I think one should not decide on the standard of care by citing one incident that he / she might have faced.

my both children are in trendy kids , both hav started to go at the age of 1 yr 6 months. as a parent i am very proud & happy to send my children to trendy kids. my childrens progress is much more than my expectation. the parent who say the teachers are rude , its wrong.
teachers are very polite & friendly. i had read the above comments personally i think parents should take the initiative to do their duty to come 10 mins before to pick up their children , than making their children as well as the teacher wait.
a parent should’nt forget when we find difficulty to manage one child of ours……. teachers have more in numbers to handle.

I strongly agree with Eshita’s last point. If anyone has any complaints against any school or staff, then they should talk to the concerned authorities and try to set things alright. After all they are not outsiders and should be treated as our family. Do remember they are doing a great service to us. If something is really going wrong they will definitely take steps to correct it. So kindly avoid complaining and try to be part of the solution.

Hi Admin
i agree to when you say be part of the solution and do not complain. I have complained a number of times and nothing changes. Lot of times my child has come unattended and its a painful sight believe me.
Also note that they collected fees for Apr & May in advance and then started giving holidays every Wednesday and May month they stopped school after 18th. They should have informed this before collecting advance fees. Its a kind of blackmail where u can’t do anything as u have paid the money.
I sincerely feel that ppl should be notified of such practices.
After all we also slog to earn our money. That is where such forums are useful where the negatives are also highlighted along with positives.

hi,
i being a parent would like to convey this message to other parent of trendy kids. when their is a talk abt april & may fee why do we forget our school days. from past itself schools hv been collecting fee for 1 year. school runs for 1 full year not only for 10 months.
april & may is always been a summer vacation for children. if school has collected their fee in advance its right in their way. bcos for that 2 months they need to pay salary for the people who work they need to maintain their building ,the park . need to make lot of arrangement for the upcoming academic year. in this matter i believe parent need to think a bit. as a parent when we slog to earn our money… similarly people working in the school is working for their earnings they are not having a fun time. the word black mail being used for an educational institute is very wrong .
frm may 18th vacation started , but yet teachers asked if parents are willing can send their children to school during vacation for sometime but not for all 3 hours…. i myself hv send my daughter to school for 2 weeks & then stopped as i had to go out.
i would like to gv an example, when their is govt leave given to employees…does govt deducts the earning for tht day. similarly for the school they declared holiday but tht doesn’t means tht we stop their earnings. unnecessarily if the school declares leave then i would agree its wrong , but summer vacation has to b their.
these days bcos of swine flu govt has asked many schools to remain close for the safety of the child… we hv paid the fees to the school…but bcos of the holidays does tht mean the school repay the fees. an ACADEMIC YEAR means a full 1 year not 10 months.
i too believe these forums are very useful not only to convey messages but also to clear up negative thoughts among people.

Hai Eshita,
Thank you very much for taking time to clarify the issue regarding fees. I have visited Trendy Kids personally and found it to be of a good standard. Yes you are right in saying that we pay fees for the whole year and not for 10 months. People should come out of this mentality that they need not pay if they do not send their kid to school or daycare. They should understand that those who are working on these schools are dependent solely on the fees.

Hi,
the mail chain seems to be quite old, however was useful to me. I too visited the premises and found it to be better than many other play schools. Comparison apart, I would like to get your opinion on the same again as I am planning to send my 8 month old baby to their day care from next month. please feel free to convey your thoughts as its the well being of my daughter.

Hello,
I also have a very bad impression about trendy kids. When I wanted to send my daughter to the day care, I was told that kid should be potty trained and we won’t help to do the same. My kid was 11 month old and how can u expect that she will be trained?
Secondly they informed me that I should take back my kid at 5 pm, how is it possible if u r working in software or any other company where the office timings are 9 to 6?
They asked me 3500/- per month which was too much for them doing nothing great.
I was very disappointed and I won’t refer this day care to anyone.
