Recently I was looking for regular Yoga classes and I found Sri Mookambika Yogacure Centre (yogaforcure.org) in DRDO phase2 near to Kagdaspura. They charge six thousand INR per session and each session has 10 classes, each class is 1hr duration. Their course is totally 5 session. After, attending 1 session, i felt like I am wasting my money and in fact first session only have warmup exercises. I really felt sorry about my money.
I joined another Yoga class organized by Yogacarya Yoshy in Thippasandra i.e. Ayuryoga (ayuryoga.co.in). I am totally satisfied with ayuryoga. He is quite experienced and have vast knowledge about Yoga and meditation. My suggestion to all, please investigate before you join any Yoga class and dont blindly spend your hard earned money without any result.

Hai Bhas,
I don’t know much about the yoga classes at Bangalore Fitness Institute. But I do know two more classes which I have personally seen and feel very good to learn yoga.
Art of Living Kaggadasapura is conducting “Sri Sri Yoga Course” regularly at Kaggadasapura. Next course will be held from 2nd Feb to 6th Feb 2010. Two batches are conducted (Morning 6 – 8 am & Evening 6:30 – 8:30 pm) at Samhita Green Oaks, 4th A Cross Kaggadasapura. For details you may contact: 9902535607 / 9945732550. Course Fee: Rs.500/-. Nearly 30 to 40 members attend each batch and they also teach meditation in the course.
Patanjali Yoga is being taught at Kaggadasapura by Mrs Uma Bose (Patanjali Yog Peeth teacher) [whose life has transformed by Yoga] at Sharada Manor Apartments, 26th Cross Kaggadasapura. Contact : 9916137742.
Hope this helps. Wish you a very healthy future.

Hai Anitha,
The fees depends on the package you take for which you need to contact her directly. She wants to see the health condition of the person before learning yoga.

This has reference to the comments of Mr.Ranjan dated Dec.10, 2009.
Mr. Ranjan suffered from serious psychic disorders. His cries for help due to fear and sleeplessness still reverberates in my ears.
When he stabilized himself at the psychic level in the first course itself, the cost consciousness gripped his mind.
Nothing comes cheaply these days especially the rare promise of a complete cure of the health problems made to a suffering software techie.
I can only feel pity for Mr. Niranjan who discontinued the yoga treatment prematurely without understanding the concepts of Yoga Treatment and Yoga Teaching. We have no time for Yoga Teaching. We are concentrating on treating patients who have lost all hopes in their life after undergoing various treatments.

I am Soumya, Ranjan’s colleague. I know Ranjan from the past one year. He is a nice person, no disorders as such. Don’t make any derogatory comments about anyone. Ranjan made a mistake by disclosing the name of your institution. But as a Yoga Teacher, you shouldn’t react in the same manner.
March 19th, 2010 at 8:15 pm
When Mr. Ranjan and another person, very closely related to him, visited my place, for the first time for consultation, I had specifically told them that my treatment is expensive, and that if all the health problems are to be rooted out, he should attend a minimum of 5 courses (that is 50 individual treatment sessions) spread over a period of 4 to 4 ½ months. I had also specifically told Mr. Ranjan not to discontinue the treatment in between, as he would gradually lose whatever benefits he had received in the initial phase of the treatment. I did tell him to consider seriously whether he would like to join the treatment program or not. Later on, he confirmed over telephone about his attending the yoga treatment at the fixed time and date. I do not consider the fees levied is very high or low taking into account the efforts involved. When super-speciality hospitals can charge thousands of rupees for a few days’ treatment without any long-lasting beneficial effects on the patients, we promise permanent cure for all health problems, including Back Pain, Slipped disk, Spondylitis, Heart ailments, B.P., Diabetes, Asthma, Headache, Sleeplessness, Gastric disorders, Arthritis, Joint pains, Kidney problems, Psoriasis, Sinusitis, etc., etc., through Yoga, without medicines, for a course fee initially agreed upon. It may be noted that, we have taken only 1 course fee, and not the total fees for the 5 courses, which itself signifies our true intent.
Just because a person is nice, it does not mean that he cannot become sick. I am not hurt by the negative comments made by Mr. Ranjan about our institution. Ms. Soumya may please see the “Testimonials” page of our Web Site yogaforcure.org where the views of a few persons, who suffered terribly in their life, have been given supported by clinical test reports. When so much good is spoken about us and about the efficacy of our treatment by people who underwent the treatment, the statement made by Mr. Ranjan does not seem to cause any damage to our institution. But what prompted me to respond to Mr. Ranjan’s comments was the conviction that it is my duty to make the position clear to the Kaggadaspura Site viewers, who, otherwise, may mistake us for the “high” fees collected from Mr. Ranjan.
Surprisingly, I am not able to understand the role of Ms.Soumya, who, representing Mr.Ranjan, issued a conduct certificate to him and at the same time denounced my comments and termed them as ‘derogatory not befitting a Yoga Teacher’. This is more damaging to the person she represents, and, at the same time, is uncalled for. Mr. Ranjan can do it if he wishes.
